Rose Creek, a town in the Old West, is under the control of the ruthless Bartholomew Bogue, who seeks to exploit the town for its resources. Emma Cullen, the widow of a town resident who was killed by Bogue's men, seeks help from a bounty hunter named Sam Chisolm. Chisolm, along with Emma, recruit seven skilled gunslingers to protect the town from Bogue and his army. The seven, a diverse group of outlaws, bounty hunters, and gamblers, come together to fight against Bogue's forces, ultimately leading to a decisive battle to liberate Rose Creek.
