Formed by Richard D'oyly Carte in 1876 to work with the likes of Gilbert and Sullivan among other British lyricist/composer teams. The history of this company and its founder is extraordinary. This poster measures at 20 x 30 inches (Double Crown) and, for its age, is in very good condition only showing a small amount of edge ware.
