Set in 2104, the crew of the colony ship Covenant is on their way to colonise the planet Origae-6. The ship's captain dies in an accident, leaving the Executive Officer in charge. The crew receives a distress signal from a nearby planet that seems habitable, and decides to investigate. They discover what they think is an uncharted paradise, but it's actually a dark and dangerous world
