Three scientists, Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Egon Spengler, are fired from Columbia University after conducting unethical experiments on their students. The scientists set up shop in an old firehouse and become paranormal exterminators, calling themselves Ghostbusters. They then do battle with the paranormal!
