Beowulf, released in 2007 is a fantastic fantasy film, directed by Robert Zemeckis, with a screenplay by Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary that was based on the poem of the hero. The Movie stars Ray Winstone as the titular character, along with Angelina Jolie, Crispin Glover, Anthony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Brendan Gleeson and many more.
The movie utilises 3D computer animation and motion capture, which critics praised very highly, noting that the special effects and storyline were fantastic.
