Released in 1993, Boxing Helena is an American mystery horror thriller, starring Sherilyn Fenn, Julian Sands and Bill Paxton, directed by Jennifer Lynch. The film follows Dr Nick Cavanaugh, a lonely surgeon that kidnaps Helena after she has a car accident. The movie originally gained positive reviews at sundance, but upon release was a financial failure and has since gained a cult following.
