"The Army of Crime" (L'Armée du crime), released in 2009, is a French historical drama directed by Robert Guédiguian. The film depicts the story of the Manouchian Group, a French Resistance unit led by Missak Manouchian, during the German occupation of France in World War II. The group was ultimately captured, tried, and executed by the Nazis. The title refers to a propaganda poster used by the Nazis to label the Resistance fighters as criminals.
