Three years after the events of the first film, a new hotel has opened, and a pair of scuba divers are killed by a great white shark while exploring the wreck of the Orca. Brody, despite the mayor's reluctance to acknowledge the danger, suspects another shark is terrorising the island. His warnings are eventually proven true as a series of attacks unfold, leading him to hunt down and eliminate the shark.
