We absolutely adore a poster that has a little bit of history and this just fits the bill!
Originally release in 1940 as A Chump at Oxford, the film had a later 50s re-release in Belgium, and the poster really stands out! Featuring the iconic comedic duo of Laurel and Hardy, this poster is a brilliant piece of memorabilia.
This original Belgian poster (approximately 14.25 x 21.75 inches) is quite unique, as it has a Crosly stamp at the top, which is a Belgian cinema that was closed in the 70s. The poster is release directly from that cinema, and it features some stamps to the righthand side of the piece, likely to cover the age rating! We have this listed in fine condition, due to these additions and some folds and marks throughout, but for a unique piece of cinematic history, this is definitely one for the collector!
